Daniel Allen Bacchus, 49, Louisburg, died June 25, 2009, at his home. Dan was born Dec. 13, 1959, in Kansas City, Mo., to Robert O. Bacchus and Carole A. Neece Bacchus. He attended school at Christ the King, Center North Junior High and graduated from Center Senior High School in 1978. Before moving to Louisburg in 1987, he lived in South Kansas City. He worked at Ridgewood Floor Covering and Pace Products Inc. He enjoyed fishing, sports and the company of his much-loved son, Brian. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Bacchus-Cox. Survivors include his son, Brian Bacchus of Freemont, Neb.; his father, Robert O. Bacchus of Kansas City; his brother, Bob Bacchus of Arlington, Texas; and his stepfather, John Cox of Louisburg.
