Terri Lee Guenther, 51, rural Paola, died April 26, 2009, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kan. Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Mary Tooley of Paola; and her children, Timothy Guenther of the home, Rachel Brown of Greeley, and Matthew Guenther of Ponca City, Okla. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home, 203 Main St., Osawatomie. She will lie in state after 1:30 p.m. today with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fontana Cemetery. Memorials are to the Terri Guenther Angel Fund. Kenneth R. Redifer, 74, Ottawa, died April 29, 2009, at Ransom Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Charlene Thompson Redifer of the home, and three sons, Cecil Redifer of Osawatomie, Dale Redifer of Lincoln, Ala., and Calvin Redifer of Richmond. Friends may call at 1 p.m. Friday at Dengel and Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa, KS 66067, and visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Moberly, Mo. Memorials may be made to Franklin County Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
Avis Lucille Bottrell Tyson, 94, Paola, formerly of Parker, died April 29, 2009, at her home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home, 203 Main St., Osawatomie. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Goodrich Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, James of the home, and three sons, John Tyson of Lincoln County, Kan., Robert Tyson of Parker and Elwin Tyson of Plains, Kan. Memorials may be made to Mason’s Memory.
