Pamela Renée Mills, 44, of Princeton, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009. The daughter of Rex and Shirley Robbins Simmons, she was born Jan. 5, 1965, in Ottawa. She lived in Princeton since 1989, moving from Centropolis, Kan. She graduated from Pomona High School with the class of 1983. She was a homemaker. The past two years, she worked for Walmart Distribution Center of Ottawa in asset protection. She previously worked for Salb Construction in Lawrence as a finalizer from 1999 to 2007. On Aug. 2, 1989, she was married to Corky Mills in Ottawa. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Dean Simmons, and brothers Roger Allen Simmons and Rodney Gene Simmons. Survivors include her husband, Corky Mills of the home; father, Rex Simmons and mother, Shirley Simmons, both of Centropolis; daughter, Tash Morgan-Mills and son Skye Mills, both of Princeton; and sisters, Susan Gammon and Laurie Simmons, both of Centropolis. Friends may pay their respects at the Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa, KS 66067, (785) 242-2323, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and after 1 p.m. Sunday until the service hour, when the family will meet with friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at the Dengel & Son Mortuary at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
