| Man dies in rollover crash south of Paola |

A Marshall, Mo., man was killed in a one-vehicle accident just outside of Paola Wednesday afternoon, marking the second fatal wreck on Miami County roads in less than a week. Anthony A. Wileford, 43, was driving a 2001 Ford Mustang south on U.S. Highway 169 at 311th Street at 4:24 p.m. when he drove off the road and hit a guard rail, causing the vehicle to overturn, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. He was not wearing a seat belt. The accident comes on the heels of another rollover wreck on Jan. 24 south of Paola that killed 19-year-old Matthew Noblet of Osawatomie.
