Connie B. Hermreck, 77, Garnett, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at her home. A native of Richmond, she grew up in the Garnett area and graduated in 1949 from Garnett High School. She graduated in 1952 from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing in Pittsburg and worked as a registered nurse in Anderson County Hospital for 40 years.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 56 years, Omer Hermreck of the home, and five children, including Colette McDonnell of Garnett. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Garnett. Memorials are to the church building fund or the Anderson County Hospital Foundation in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Services, P.O. Box 408, Garnett, KS 66032.
